Now I am not sure who is actually living here because his son William lived on Short Street. This is a tax delinquency list for 1883 and it says that P.M. Fletcher trustee is living on Short Street and has 74 feet of frontage on the street. He owes $12.18 in back taxes with a 5% penalty.

Apparently P.M. Fletcher trustee paid his tax bill in 1883, but is now late again in 1884. He owes the same amount of $12.18 in unpaid taxes.

Apparently not paying on time ran in the family. Here in 1897, P.M. Fletcher’s wife owes 14.28 and his son William owes $46.60 on the same 74 foot lot from earlier in this post.
