Hans Josef Huber was a son of Hans Melchior Huber and Marie Dorthea Reinhard. He was born in 1745 and died in 1792 (in Switzerland). He was a church caretaker. He married Marie Franziska Bucher and had two children (in Switzerland):
1. Anna Marie Huber (1768-1817) married Martin Steiner from Kanton Schwyz.
2. Hans Josef Huber (1770-) He was a priest in Lauerz, Kanton Schwyz, Switzerland.
Hand Josef Huber then married Josefa Durrer and had six more children:
1. Anton Huber (1776-) He lived in Turin,Italy.
2. Anna Marie Huber (1781-1845) married Anton Franz Durrer.
3. Felix Huber (1783-1859) married Marie Josefa Michel.
4. Katharina Barbara Huber (1786-1826) married Balthazar Odermatt.
5. Josefa Huber (1788-1820) married Anton Bucher.
6. Regina Huber (1792-1872) married Kaspar Ettlin.
