John Nelligan was born in abt 1819 in Ballinvownig, County Kerry, Ireland. He was a farmer. He died before 1872. Joanna Griffin was born abt 1815 and died on May 8th 1872 on Main Street in Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland. They had at least three children:
1. Patrick John Nelligan who was born in 1838 in Ballinvounig, Kerry, Ireland and died on August 29th 1904 in Dingle, Kerry, Ireland. He married Johanna O’Connor and had five children: James, John, Johanna, Patrick and Mary Nelligan.
2. Maria Nelligan who married Michael Moore.
3. Johanna Moore who was born in 8 March 1842 in Ballinvounig, Kerry, Ireland. She married Mortimer Boland.
